Bloom X³ Inc. (Founder & CEO: Hiromichi Kimura) recently met with Nobel Laureate Prof. Shinya Yamanaka at Gladstone Institutes (a UCSF-affiliated research institute) in California, USA. Prof. Yamanaka is Director Emeritus of the Center for iPS Cell Research and Application (CiRA), Kyoto University, and serves as a Senior Investigator at the Gladstone Institute of Cardiovascular Disease (Shinya Yamanaka, MD, PhD).
During the meeting, we exchanged perspectives on translating life science research outcomes into real-world impact and on approaches to international collaboration. We also shared a brief overview of our efforts to support the social implementation of academic innovations, and we sincerely appreciate the valuable insights Prof. Yamanaka offered from a broad range of viewpoints.
